Bobi Weds Barbie - For all those who did not know, Prince William and Kate’s marriage wasn’t the only royal wedding this year! Uganda’s  very own celebrity couple his excellency Bobi Wine wed his long time soul mate, the very lovely Barbie Itungo and apt was honored to be center stage of this memorable day as the only official photographers for the wedding.

The wedding ceremony took place on 27th August 2011 at Rubaga Cathedral and was presided over by Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga and the reception was at Serena Hotel Kampala. This elegant affair was attended by the likes of Her Highness (the Nnaabagereka of Buganda) Sylvia Nagginda, Prince Wasajja of Buganda, the former mayor of Kampala and the current mayor, Jose Chameleon and many other stars and socialites.

 

The bride looked debonair in silver stilettos and an extremely beautiful gown that exposed her tattoo of the “badman from Kamwokya” while the ghetto president Bobi Wine looked dashing in a white tux, black stripped tie and white shirt.

To transport the couple was an impressive fleet of one horse and carriage, two Hummers, two Benzes, two Limousines, two Beamers, two Escalades, a Toyota Prado and several motorcycles.

Bobi and Barbie married in what is certainly the celebrity wedding of the year, if not the decade! And APTs team of highly qualified individuals and state of the art equipment worked tirelessly to ensure that the splendor of the event was captured in full.
